about your doula
I’m a childbirth educator and dedicated birth and postpartum doula with a wealth of experience in helping women transition into motherhood. I strive for an integrative approach, utilizing evidence-based information, informed choice, and am a strong believer in utilizing our natural resources and holistic medicine as well as modern advances. I will wholeheartedly support parents of all belief systems and advocate for your desires.
I am currently pursuing DONA certification and working towards accepting Tricare and Medicaid in 2024. My ultimate goal is to expand my services to include professional midwifery in the near future. I am professionally trained by ABP Doula Training Center and attended the University of Alabama.
As a mother of three, a military spouse, and a total birth nerd, I'm passionate about all things pregnancy and childbirth. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to pursue my calling by guiding and empowering women throughout their journey of bringing new life into the world.
my purpose
As a doula, I have the privilege of witnessing the magic of childbirth and providing crucial support to mothers-to-be and their loved ones. My role involves emotional, physical and informative aid during the pre and postnatal periods. The advantages of having a doula are endless, ranging from a more fulfilling birthing experience, shorter labor times, and a decreased risk of medical intervention. I will be your friend, advocate, and guide throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatal period, and will do everything in my power to ensure that you have a life-changing, positive experience.
physical preparation
Proper preparation of the body for childbirth is critical, and there are several approaches to achieving this goal, including chiropractic care, pelvic floor physical therapy, and fitness. Embracing these methods can help in having a smoother delivery process and facilitate faster recovery after birth. I will offer you resources and referrals to connect with local professionals who can assist in preparing you for labor and addressing any pregnancy-related discomforts.
prenatal nutrition
Growing a tiny human is no small feat! That's why I'm here to help provide you with evidence based research and guidance on how to give your baby the best start in life and assist you in an easy postpartum recovery.
From chatting about prenatal nutrition to prepping high-quality meals to aid in healing and lactation postpartum, we'll tackle it all together! Because when it comes to pregnancy, healthy choices equal happy mommies and healthy babies. So, let's get munching!
discounts & payment plans
I strongly believe that every woman deserves the support of a doula. That's why I offer discounted rates to low-income families, those affected by natural disasters, and active-duty military and law enforcement personnel.
I provide an additional discount for women with deployed spouses.
Furthermore, I offer flexible payment plans to ensure that every woman has access to the care they need. Upon signing, a 25% non-refundable retainer fee is required, and the plan can be tailored to your specific requirements. All payments be submitted by 36 weeks gestation.
